Arklow Golf Club Charity Day

The Joe Holt Memorial Day  will be held on Saturday September 25 2010.

The proceeds of the day will be donated to Arklow and Bray Cancer Support Groups.

The event will be a Four Person Team event with 2 to score on each hole and the cost of entry is € 240 per team. Included in the cost will be tea / coffee and scones on arrival and a three course meal post golf. There will be entertainment in the Clubhouse late into the night.

Sponsoring of a hole will cost € 100 and sponsorship of any kind will be gratefully received. There will be a Monster Raffle on the day and there will also be a 2s  competition plus longest drive and nearest the pin.

A time sheet is available in the office and will be confined to members up until March 31 after which it will be open to all.

Joe Holt was a long standing and valued member of the club, a past Captain and lifelong golfer. He and his family have given and give great service to Arklow Golf Club. Joe was taken from us in November 2009 and we want to pay a fitting tribute to his memory and ask you all to support this event and the cancer support groups who do  tremendeous  work and provide great support to the sufferers and their families.
