Junior / Juvenile Boys and GUI Coaching

We have had four juvenile boys and two junior boys selected for coaching by the GUI for the winter season 2009/2010.

Under 13:      Jordan O'Tool, Brian O'Toole, Donal Mc Cann and Jay Stafford.

15 - 18 years:       Sean Guilfoyle and Sean Birmingham

About 160 boys went for  the trials from the district and 30 were selected in total. Ten ( 10 ) were selected at under 13 years. Ten ( 10 ) at 13-15 years and ten ( 10 ) at 15-18 years.

So Arklow Golf Club Juvenile Section did very well to have six ( 6 ) selected from a total of thirty       ( 30 ). 

The coaching will take place in Rosslare Golf Club under the tutelage of Johnny Young ( Professional). The juveniles / parents have been notified by the GUI with the relevent details.
